The Karta-Karma-kriya of Sri Lalithamba Devi temple is Chiranjeevi Kakara Udayaraj, son of Appala Narsinga Rao-Venkata Lakshmi of Chamalapalli, who spent sleepless nights ever since the deity Sri Lalitambika devi assigned him the arduous task of establishing a Temple for Her at his native village Chamalapalli.
